Sorry that I’ve been gone for so long, folks. I’m back! That’s right, run for cover. I’m working on two books right now and hoping to have them out this summer.
Currently, I’ve been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, an unknown genetic disease, autonomic neuropathy, and potentially narcolepsy with cataplexy and sleep paralysis. That’s right, my body’s trying to kill me.
But I have a lot of dark things to show you and magic too. The Story of Lot’s Mountain isn’t finished. There’s more yet to come.
Come on and stay a spell. Walk that journey with me …
My newest novel, Lot’s Mountain, is FREE on the 7th and 8th! Check it out! Monsters, Southern home-cooking, crazy preachers? Yep, it’s in there.
Grab a copy, open a book, and stay for a spell.

Obscurity, not bad press, is really the bane of every intrepid indie author. There’s no magic lady drifting under the waves, ready to lob a sword at us, and no wizard with a magic spell that will make everyone instantly know about us.
But there are things you can do. Seek out reviewers, ones specific to your genre. After figuring out who your audience is (that’s an article for another time), figure out how to find them. Bookbloggers willing to take a chance on indie writers (usually just for a free copy) are a great resource. After they blog, tweet, and review, their fans will know about your book.

Don’t be afraid to reach out and get others talking about your book. Even if they aren’t saying it’s the best thing ever written … they are still talking about it. And other people will be listening and just might be willing to take a chance on you.
Sorry for being gone for so long, but my illness has been worsening lately. I’ve been learning to adapt and cope. Here’s hoping that you’ll be seeing a lot more of me.
Thanks for the patience.
Ready to work more on that new edition of Blood of the Revenant. Looking at it with a fresh new look. Look for it in months to come!

One of the hardest thing about selling a new book is getting the word out there. Reviews in one way to do that. Any good lists out there for reviews?
Magic isn’t gone, only hidden.
For countless centuries monsters, men, and things in between have fought hidden battles over the fate of magic … in a small rural town in Virginia. Now their skirmishes threaten to explode into open war, with the entire world held in the balance.
Dylan Caid, a troubled misfit whose secret just might hold the key to victory, finds himself thrust into the center of this ancient conflict. With both sides urging him to join with them and threatening death or worse should he not, Dylan must seek out an ancient force that even monsters fear.
