Well, that sounds like a load of … Wampus cats?


These cats appear in Cherokee and Appalachian myths. In legends, they were once women who spied on their husbands, only to become cursed. They then became black panthers.

These dark panthers stalk the forests, waiting for the unwary. In “Lot’s Mountain”, they scurry across the countryside, guarding a secret that could change the fate of man, magic, and monster.
